Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Mohammad al-Shaddadi discussed with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to our country, Michael Aron, the latest developments in Yemen's humanitarian situations.
Al-ShaddadigaveAron an account on the dire humanitarian consequences of the Houthis coup d'état that was mounted in 2014, the insurgency since then.
He said that the rebels continue to reject the GCC Agreement, the outcomes of the National Dialogue and the UN Security Council resolutions, the guides to any peaceful settlement in the country.
For his part, Aron stressed the importance of restoring stability to Yemen, pointing out that the UK will provide all help needed to make the mission of the new UN mediator to Yemen Martin Griffiths a success.
