Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Al-Maysari stressed the attention that the political and military leadership represented by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi pays to the defense and security establishment.

During a meeting with the Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Saleh Al-Zindani and senior officials from the Defense Ministry, Al-Maysari praised the heroic sacrifices made by members of the armed forces and security and popular resistance in the battles to defend the state and protect the nation from foreign interference through Houthi rebels.

He affirmed the determination of the country's political and military leadership to to rebuild and modernize the defense and security institutions in order to protect the national sovereignty, enhance security and stability and combat all forms of terrorism, and extremism across the country.
