Deputy Premier, Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mekhlafi met Sunday with ambassador of Republic of Romanian Mehei Cowman.
Yemeni-Romanian bilateral ties and cooperation was a central focus of the conversation between Al-Mekhlafi and Mr Cowman.
The Foreign Minister briefed the Romanian diplomat on the latest developments about situations in our country. He stated that the Yemeni legitimate government stressed that need for realizing fair and durable peace that is based on the three terms of references: GCC's brokered-deal, its operational plan, outcomes of the National Dialogue and International Security Council resolutions about Yemen.
Al-Mekhlafi pointed out to the Humanitarian Response Plan adopted by the Yemeni government and sponsored by Arab Coalition. He explained that the Coalition and government have committed under the Humanitarian Plan to devote land outlets , seaports and airports under government's control to receive humanitarian aids and secure safe access of humanitarian assistance to all Yemeni peoples throughout the country including the ones in Houth-held regions.
The Romanian ambassador has reiterated his country's government support for the legal Yemeni government, wishing Yemen peace and stability, noting that Romania willing to contribute to the post-war reconstruction process with offering Romanian expertise.
