Governors of Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhalea governorates swear-in before President al-Alimi
The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

Social insurances remittance discussed

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ahmad al-Maisari discussed on Monday with concerned officials the second phase of Emergent Cash Remittance Project and finalizing the first phase to include all beneficiaries of social insurance.
In the meeting, which included Deputy Minister of Local Administration AwadhMashbah and Executive Director of Social Care Fund Najla' al-Sayyadi, al-Maisari talked about the ongoing project provided by the World Bank and international donors via UNICEF.
Worth USD 200 million and implemented by local companies, the project targets more than 1,5 million people.
Al-Maisari stressed on abiding by concrete measures while implementation for providing assistances to all beneficiaries.
