RIYADH-SABA
Yemen and the GCC officials discussed in Riyadh on Wednesday a number of issues related to Yemen's humanitarian relief situations in light of the wretched conditions caused by the Houthi insurgency.
The Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Relief Aid Abduraqeeb Fatah and his deputy Ibtihaj al-Kamal from Yemen sat with officials from the GCC mission to Yemen, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Actions.
Fatah made clear that the government is working to move to the next stage of relief aid work; launching development projects and labor-intensive projects and proceeding to implement projects that directly touch on people's quality of life.
He appreciated the relief aid offered by the Arab Coalition states led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
