Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmed Ghaleb has said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) statement on the conclusion of Article IV consultations with the Republic of Yemen reflects an important return to institutional engagement with the international community after a long period of interruption, welcoming the content of the statement.

Al-Irada, Judges, commanders discuss tightening security in Mareb

Governor of Mareb General Sultan al-Irada presided over a meeting for judiciary and security commanders on Wednesday for boosting coordination between judiciary and security forces.

The meeting focused on legal arrest and its measures in accordance with law and bylaws organizing and protecting citizen's rights. The meeting also dealt with cases of releasing criminals due to negligence of the security forces under these exceptional situations.

Governor al-Irada, who praised efforts of the security and police forces, stressed on rising security responsibility and lasting state of alert for tightening security and stability and fighting crimes and terrorism.

"All are astonished for accomplishments achieved in Mareb Province in different fields led by security field," said al-Irada.

He stressed on capacity building of the affiliates of security and police via training and qualification, showing support of local authority to all programs in this field.

On the other hand, Governor of Mareb al-Irada laid on Wednesday the foundation stone for establishing another public Gas Station in the province for breaking fuel monopoly.
