VP conducts phone call to Taiz governor to follow developments

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh conducted a telephone call on Thursday to the governor of Taiz Dr Ameen Ahmed Muhmood.

In his telephone conversation the Vice President wanted to be updated on the latest developments in the province.

The governor briefed the Vice President on the going battles have been fought by the government's troops against Iran-backed militia. Muhmood informed (Lt Gen) Mohssen about the significant military advancements have been realized by the national army backed by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition Forces.

The Vice President praised the victories gained by armed forces in different battlefields. Mohssen has affirmed that legal leadership headed by President Hadi is very keen to get Taiz province cleared of the Houthi militia as soon as possible.
