Yemeni-Turkish bilateral cooperation discussed

Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Dr Mansour Bajash met with the Turkish ambassador to our country Levient Eler.

Bajash briefed the Turkish ambassador on the latest developments related to the political situation in our country. He explained the underway efforts have been made by the legitimate government to bring about peace and re-establish stability, noting that Iran-backed militia seek for prolonging the warfare.

Bajash expressed thanks for the Turkish government for its supportive stance in supporting the legal government and for its contribution to the humanitarian and relief operations in Yemen.

The Turkish ambassador has reiterated his country's support for the legitimate government headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi. He stated that Turkey will continue to extend help and assistance to the Yemeni people.
