The Local Authority of Aden has rejected the irresponsible practices of the that the forces of the Transitional Council, otherwise known as thee Security Belt, in Aden on Sunday.
The separatist forces stormed public headquarters by forces, and looted and destroyed contents in a failed bid to overthrow the government.
In a statement later in the day, the Authority said it confirms "the full right to freedom of peaceful expressions while rejecting the irresponsible practices of the forces of the Transitional Council, otherwise known as thee Security Belt; their storming of government headquarters, looting and destroying of content … which may plunge Aden and the whole country in bloody conflicts of unfavorable consequences."
The statement of which Saba received a copy said: "The Local Authority is following up mounting concern the serious escalation which the Transitional Council called for and … which led to dozens of casualties."
The statement confirmed the Authority's "support for any political and social activity that spare s the public security and peace and pushes the process of development in Aden and other provinces forward."
The Authority called for the immediate halt of escalations and chaos which the "Transitional Council" makes, renewing loyalty to President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and to the martyrs of Aden who died in heroic fight against the Iranian militia of Houthis to render Aden free and safe. .
The statement appealed for the tipping the balance in favour of the public interest and "to spare Aden more conflicts as the wounds sustained from the Houthis' barbaric war are still unhealed yet.
