Fishery Wealth Minister discuss 2018 projects

Minister of Fishery Wealth Fahd Kafayen discussed on Wednesday with Members of Tender Committee measures taken by the ministry for buying boats and marine machines for fishers in liberated provinces for improving their conditions.

Minister Kafayen also discussed with the committee a report on results of the tenders for buying 400 boats and motors for fishers in Taiz, Abyan, shabwah and Mahra within the government's support to the ministry in 2018.

He confirmed that the forthcoming patch will be for fishers in provinces of Hadhramout, Aden, Lahj and Hodeida.

He pointed out that the ministry is doing tenders for rehabilitating unload centers inMahra and wave barriers in Ahwar and Socotra, rehabilitating Shocra anchor and ice plant in Socotra.
