Electricity Ministry will tackle energy cost across Yemen

Deputy Minister of Electricity Mubarak al-Tamimi has confirmed that the ministry will work on tackling the cost of the bought energy across Yemeni provinces.
In his meeting with Deputy Governor of Shabwa Ali al-Kindi and leadership of electricity institution of Shabwa on Tuesday, he stressed on having suitable mechanism to the debt of consuming electricity and settling it.
He confirmed that the ministry has worked on putting necessary solutions to deal with current shortage of power generating in the central station at the capital Atak via providing new plant with output of 10 MW and providing spare parts to damaged generators.
For his part, al-Kindi praised efforts for overcoming power problems and cooperation with the province for facing financial problems.
