Yemen’s Ambassador to the United States, Jamila Raja, met on Thursday with Robert Palladino, an official in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, to discuss prospects for strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries across a variety of fields.

Al-Iryani outlines media coverage plan

Minster of Information Mo'amer Al-Iryani held Thursday a meeting of the government's media leaders. The meeting aimed to discuss the Ministry 's media coverage scheduled to be launched within the forthcoming days to cover all humanitarian activities and efforts have been made by the government to re-normalize situations in the government-held provinces.

The meeting elaborately discussed underway preparations to cover the large-scale relief and humanitarian campaign to be launched next week by King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Actions to alleviate Yemeni peoples' suffering in different Yemeni provinces.

The Minister briefed the official and private-owned media outlets' leaders on his field visit he paid to the front-lines battles in Nehm front where met with troops and got first-hands facts about the military advancements gained by the troops in different fronts across the country.

Al-Iryani urged media men and women to redoubling efforts so as to live up to the occasion and play their role effectively in encountering Iran-backed Houthi coup d'état. "Every media man and woman should act responsibly and professionally. We have to raise up to the challenge and keep abreast with the military advancements and the reconstruction process", said the minister.

The Information Minister highly appreciated the humanitarian and relief role of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Actions in Yemen that significantly have helped to mitigate Yemeni peoples' suffering for the past three years.
