Revenues of Customs Office of Hudramout Al-Wadi and Sahara counted 28 billion, 813 million and 913 thousands Yemeni Rial (YR) in 2017. This sum less than last year's by one billion, 204 million and 838 (YR).
General Director of Customs Office A'shoor Qafzan argued that this reduction is a result of economic hardships Yemeni people have been experiencing due to the civil war in the country and the decrease of YR value against foreign currencies. "Accordingly, imports have been remarkably reduced in 2017, said Qafzan.
"Due customs of some 19 thousands and 997 imported cars were collected" according to Qafzan.
