Government discusses general indicators of state budget

The Supreme Committee for Drafting the State Budget has discussed the general indicators and the caps of the expenditures and revenues of 2018 in light of the public expenditures of 2014

In a meeting headed by Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr in Aden on Saturday, the Committee discussed detailed figures of the projected revenues and expenditures as well as of the financial deficit of 2018.

It also discussed measures to ensure an active revenue collection and prevention of tax evasion and ensuring that collected taxes are brought to the state budget.

It approved the approximate indicators of austerity in the budget and the provision of the draft budget to the Cabinet to approve it in its next meeting.
