President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has sent cables of congratulations to many world presidents, kings and heads of state on the coming of the new year, 2018.

Hadi thanked the leaders for their countries' support to Yemen in the face of the insurgency that the Iran-backed Houthis unleashed plunging Yemen in a bloodbath and manifold humanitarian crises never seen before.

Hadi renewed the government's preparedness for a well-founded lasting peace that fulfills the Yemeni people's demands as provided for in the UN Security Council resolutions.

Hadi wished welfare for the leaders and prosperity for their nations.
