VP is briefed on situations in Sana'a, Dhamar provinces

Vice President Lieutenant Gneral (Lt Gen) met Tuesday with the governor of Sana'a province Maj. Abdulqawee and Dhamar province Maj. General Ali Al-Qawsi. Adviser of Commander-in-Chief (Lt Gen) Ali Al-Maqadashi was in presence.

During the meeting the two governors briefed the Vice President on the latest developments in the two provinces.

The meeting also touched upon underway efforts aimed to regain the state's institutions in the two provinces.

The Vice President urged the two governors to increase efforts, line up people and mobilize political and social constituencies for supporting legal government and sustaining the troops in the battles against Iran-backed Houthi militia that shed bloods of Yemenis and robbed their property, threatening the country's security and the region's.

The two governors cited the catastrophic humanitarian situations the citizens have been suffering under Houthi control.
