Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. Ambassador Mustfa reviews Yemen's developments in Europe

Yemen's Ambassador to the European Union Mohammad Mustafa discussed on Wednesday with Director of the Middle East and Gulf and North Africa in the European Union and Head of Arabian Peninsula and Iraq Department latest developments in Yemen.

Mustafa reviewed developments in Sana'a after assassinating former President Ali Saleh and continuous arrest of political leaders and journalists by Houthi militia in their held areas.

He confirmed that the government, under President Hadi, will continue to extend a hand for peace in accordance with the three references; GCC Initiative and its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN resolutions led by Resolution 2216 for keeping Yemeni people away of more bloodshed in the future.

Mustafa expressed gratitude of Yemen's government to the EU for its continuous support and providing humanitarian and relief aid. He called for exerting political pressure on Iran to stop its interference in internal affairs of Yemen.

For his part, the EU official confirmed significance of stability and peace in Yemen and resumption of the political process in accordance with the three references for reaching a solution ending the war and humanitarian suffering.

He confirmed that the Union will continue its support and and aid to Yemen.
