Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Dr. Anwar al-Mahri discussed Wednesday with the Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), Zubeyir Yaka Yılmaz, and the Head of the Turkish Red Crescent Mission in Yemen, Ahmed Korkmaz ways of strengthening cooperation and partnership in support of the technical education and vocational training sector in Yemen.

Ba-Humaid discusses Yemeni community's situations in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR
Yemen's Ambassador to Malaysia Adel ba-Humaid discussed on Tuesday with Malaysian General Director of Emigration Department DatukMustafar situations of Yemeni community here after increasing its members over Houthi militia war on Yemen.

Ambassador ba-Humaid praised facilitations provided by Malaysian authorities to Yemenis, noting that this brotherly position is not strange for Malaysia, which has escorted honoring attitude for supporting legality in Yemen while chairing the UN Security Council; helping in issuance of Resolution 2216.

He expressed desire of Yemen's government for expanding this cooperation via increasing trade exchange between the two countries and increasing number of Yemeni students in Malaysia.

For his part, the Malaysian official expressed his country's proud of historical relations with Yemen and hoped quick peace solutions for Yemen's crisis. He also confirmed boosting cooperation with Yemen's embassy on a number of issues including Yemeni community here for enabling Yemenis of legal residence.

The two parties agreed on providing facilitations by Malaysian Authorities to Yemeni citizens and students. They also agreed on holding training programs and capacity building for employees of Yemeni Passport and Emigration employees on recent technology for checking documents.
