VP meets with US ambassador to our country

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met Thursday with the US ambassador to our country Matthew Tuller.

The meeting aimed to discuss the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena including recent events in the capital Sana'a.

The Vice President explained the recent developments Yemen has seen recently. He cited the criminal practices committed by Houthi and his militias against the people in the provinces under Houthi militia control.

Mohssen has made clear that the legal government has been seeking for establishing peace on the three references, as peace is the way to build a democratic Federal Yemen.

The Vice President expressed his strong condemnation of the US decision to recognize Al-Quds as a capital of Israel.

The American ambassador reiterated the US support for legal authority in Yemen.

He also extended condolences to the Vice President on the death of the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh and senior figures of the General People Congress.
