Minister of Planning discusses WB projects in Yemen

CAIRO-SABA
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Mohammed Assa'adi discussed in Cairo Tuesday with the World Bank (B) team Portfolio of the WB projects in Yemen. The WB team headed by Regional Director Sandra Bloemenkamp.

The WB portfolio projects in Yemen estimated at one billion and 230 million dollars. These projects are carried out b. the WB through the UN organizations.

The meeting reviewed a number of the projects about the WB grants which planned to be implemented in the areas of health, nutrition , Cholera control, emergency response to intensive labors works, emergency response to monitory transfer, small farmers support and emergency reconstruction of urban areas services.

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr Nasser Ba-aum and Minister of Public Works and Highways Eng. Ma'aeen Abdulmalik were in attendance.
