Putschist militias seek to serve Iranian regional agenda, says Al-Mikhlafi

Yemen's ambassador to the Peoples Republic of China Mohammed Al-Mikhlafi said that Houthi-Saleh alliance sought to carry out Iranian regional agendas aimed to expand Iran's influence and destabilize Yemen, neighboring countries and entire region. Consequentially, posing threats to international peace and security given that overlooking one of the world's important international passageways: Bab al-Mandab Strait".
In an interview with the Chinese News Agency (Xinhua) al-Mikhlafi added:" stability and security can't be re-established as long as Iran continues to provide the militias with weapons",
The ambassador cited economic hardships and humanitarian catastrophic crisis. " Yemeni people ordeal is an imaginable, particularly in the regions under militias control".
Al-Mikhlafi affirmed that Yemeni legal government is very keen to make fair peace that is based on the GCC' Initiative and outcomes of the National Dialogue and UN Security Council resolution 2216.
The ambassador praised China's role and support to Yemeni people in different fields.
