TAIZ-SABA
The field team of theHuman Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) has monitored killing of 12 civilians among them five women and two children, and 26 other injured cases including nine women in Taiz for past October.
In its monthly report issued on Friday in Taiz, the center monitored 18 houses partially destroyed over Houthi-Saleh militias heavy shelling on the city by rockets and shells.
According to the center, al-Thawra Hospital and its yard have been affected by the shelling which targeted also the historical cite of al-Qahira Castle in a repeated violation to antique cities in Taiz.
"Despite repeated pleas to humanitarian and right organizations of the international community to shoulder moral responsibility to stop genocides against citizens in Taiz City, Houthi-Saleh's militias are increasingly continuing their crimes against citizens outlawing all international laws and legislations ensuring protection of civilians during wars," said HRITC's report.
The humanitarian and living situations in Taiz are increasingly deteriorating as the majority of government employees' salaries have been cut for a year and economic crisis is deepening with prices skyrocketing over sharp fall of the price of the Yemeni Rial, in addition to chronic severe water crisis, according to the report.
The report included grieving cases like killing of Salma Farhan, the mother of two late sons killed by a shell in 30 Street west of Taiz.
