Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as investors' expectations of demand growth eased due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China.
Media meeting held Monday evening chaired by Minister of Information Mo'amar bin Mutaher Al-Iryani. Media outlets' action and discourse were elaborately discussed. A draft of Code of Ethics prepared by the Ministry was reviewed as well.
The code is designed to guide media action at this critical stage and contribute toward maintaining national fabric coherence, promoting federal state proposal and overcoming coup d'état.
The meeting also explored media's priorities for the time being and afterward.
The minister of Information highlighted the need for coordinating efforts between all media outlets in a way can effectively raise awareness about the rebellious militias' schemes and lethal consequences it has produced.
Al-Iryani advised media leaders to inspire team-work and sense national responsibility; urging media men and women to act carefully and sensibly at this critical moment.
'Journalists should refrain from smearing discourse against individuals and authorities, specifically leading national politicians and institutions as well as of Saudi-led Arab Coalition member states', he stated.
The minister expressed thanks to Saudi Ministry of Information and Culture for its supportive role and significant efforts it has devoted to help Ministry of Information of Yemen.
