U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Vice President convenes meeting in Nehm

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt. Gen.) Ali Mohssen Saleh held a meeting brought together military commanders of the Seventh Military Zone.

The meeting devoted to discuss latest developments in front-lines battles.

General Mohssen hailed progress made recently in Nehm district eastern capital Sana'a.

The commanders offered brief presentation about the military gains and underway combating actions.

The vice president deeply appreciated troops brave battles they have been fighting in different front-line battles.

General Mohssen has renewed call on freemen of armed and security forces to revolt against Houthi terrorist militias which early targeted the military institution, murdering and kidnapping commanders, looting weapons and ammunition, replacing professional troops by sectarian militiamen.

He also urged free tribesmen and freemen of Sana'a and other Yemeni regions to align themselves with the government's troops in order to get rid of coup d'état nightmare and put an end to Yemenis calamity caused by Iran's proxies' rebellion

Earlier Wednesday (Lt. Gen.) Mohssen paid an inspection visit to the front-line battles in Nehm front of Sana'a governorate. During his trip he was briefed on the going combat actions and the progress in the battles against the rebellious militias.
