Jubari meets with US ambassador to Yemen

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Civil Service Abdulaziz Jubari met Monday with the US ambassador to our country Matthew Tuller.

The talks focused on latest developments in Yemen, particularly in Taiz governorate where humanitarian situation is catastrophic due to the warfare has been waged by Houthi-Saleh militias against the governorate.

The discussion touched upon the urgency for putting an end of Taiz's population's ordeal and all Yemeni people as well. Yet this is can't be realized unless international pressed for enforcing the International Security Council resolution 2216.

Jubari suggested that pressures need to be mounted upon the rebellious militias in order to go to peace. He asserted that legal government is very keen on making peace, ending warfare and go on re-building Yemen in accordance with National Dialogue Conference's outcomes that Houthis and Saleh made contribution to.

The American ambassador affirmed that his country is interested in putting an end to the war in Yemen by whatever means.
