President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi has acquainted the British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs Alistair Burt on the Saleh-Houthi militias' intransigent rejection of peace and atrocities against the Yemeni civilians.
Hadi met Burt on the sideline of the UN General Assembly's 72nd session in New York on Thursday. Hadi made clear that the militias continue to reject peace offers and maintain their military takeover in defiance of the UN Security Council's resolution no. 2216.
He said that the miltias continue to killed unarmed civilians including women and children in Taiz and even confiscate humanitarian aid in all their areas of control for the militias' use only.
