Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh said "we will work to implement the National Dialogue outcomes which give equity to women and empower them to be effective partners in the administration, politics and sustainable development."
The Vice President made the remarks in Marib on Monday in a meeting with leading women activists; the Director General of Women Development in Marib governor's office, president of Yemen Women Union branch office, Women Sector in the branch office of the GPC party, the Alliance of Abductees' Mothers, and leading women activists in girls education, women sports and civil society activists.
The Vice President said the government is keen on boosting women's participation in the political and administrative processes in line with the outcomes of the National Dialogue.
The women leaders expressed their appreciation of the Vice President's interest in their empowerment saying the national responsibility dictate upon them and everyone to stand by the side of the government and get the country out of the quagmire which the coup plunged Yemen into.
