Militias face govt efforts for peace with massacres, Yemeni diplomat says

Yemen's Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammed al-Ashbi told the Pakistani Dep. Foreign Minister for Middle East Affairs Itizaz Ahmed that the government is exerting efforts to achieve peace to end the people's suffering but the Saleh-Houthi militias face these efforts with more massacres.
Al-Ashbi made mention of the coup militias' shelling on Taiz that killed and injured several children a few days ago.
The Pakistani official listen to Al-Ashbi's account on the situations in Yemen and affirmed his government's support to the Yemeni state headed by President Hadi.
