WB allocates $200 million for cholera fighting and sanitation in Yemen

The World Bank has allocated USD 200 million for cholera fighting and for improving sanitation in Yemen. The support is part of the second stage of Yemen emergency plan and will be channeled to Yemen through the UNICEF and WHO.
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Mohammed Assadi expressed the Yemeni government's appreciation to the WB's board of directors for maintaining a continuous support especially in these difficult times Yemen is going through.
