In its 100th session in Cairo Thursday, the Arab League Economic and Social Council (ESC) lifted Yemen's name from the high risk countries a rating list in the MENA Financial Group.
The session, in which Yemen was represented by Industry Minister Mohammed al-Maytami, recommended that this decision be brought to the coming session of the Arab League Foreign Ministersto support it.
The ESC urged the Arab Central Banks to help Yemen get its name lifted in the soonest possible.
It urged the Arab health ministers to hold an emergency meeting on Yemen to address its health situations in the soonest possibke with a view to providing the country with health aids.
It thanked the Arab countries which helped Yemen fight against the prevalent epidemics calling on the rest Arab countries to do their part each one in their suitable field.
The meeting addressed other Arab issues such as the great pan-Arab free trade zone, pan-Arab customs union, investment of Arab capitals in Arab countries and other projects.
