At least 71militants killed and injured in Hajjah in past 72 hours

As many as 31 Saleh-Houthi rebel militants were killed and more than 40 others were injured in the ongoing clashes between the army and rebel militia in Meedi and Haradh of Hajjah province.

The Media Center of the 5th Military Region quoted a military source as saying that the said casualties were incurred in skirmishes aimed at winning control over the supply routes to Haradh and Hajjah, where the militants are holed up.

With aerial coverage from the Arab coalition, the army managed to close in on the militants in the coastal town of Meedi.

Over the past two days, the Arab airplanes launched more than 20 precise air raids on military reinforcements bound for the militias' in Haradh and Meedi, the source said. .
