Yemen's FM reviews government peace efforts in Algeria

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmali al-Mikhlafi discussed on Sunday with the Prime Minister of Algeria AbdelmadjidTebboune conditions and situations in Yemen under Houthi-Saleh's coup against the state and the political process.

These processes have been nearing its accomplishing after the ending successfully the National Dialogue Conference and the draft constitution based on the outcomes of the dialogue, all ensured peaceful transfer of power.

The war, which has been triggered by Houthi-Saleh's rebel militias against the Yemeni people, is still ongoing causing havocs, increasingly poverty levels and eruption of epidemics in the country, said al-Mikhlafi.

He reviewed efforts of the government in supporting the UN efforts and the states monitoring the the political process in Yemen and all efforts hindered and rejected by rebels, which finally led to the continuation of people suffering.

Efforts of resumption activities of the Yemeni-Algerian committee for increasing scholarships to Yemeni students and providing medical assistance for facing cholera were discussed.

Arab joint work under current challenges faced by Arab Nation and latest developments on Palestinian arena and banning worshipers from prayer at al-Aqsa shrine was highlighted.

Prime Minister Tebboune renewed his country support to the legal government under President Hadi for facing rebel militias, extremist and terrorists.
