Yemen Information Minister Muamar al-Eryani and Egyptian Ambassador to Yemen Yusuf al-Sharqawi on Wednesday discussed here media cooperation and providing facilities for media practitioners.
They further touched on bilateral relations and various fields of cooperation between Yemen and Egypt.
Al-Eryani highly valued the intervention of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in Yemen, pointing out that it saved the country from foreign ambitions which threaten security and stability of the region and jeopardize the international navigation, as he explained.
For his part, the Egyptian Ambassador reiterated Egypt's positions supporting Yemen's legitimate government, indicating that Egypt supports Yemen's unity and the UN efforts aiming at implementing resolutions regarding Yemen, particularly the UN Security Council Resolution 2216, the GCC-brokered initiative and the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference.
The ambassador hailed the profound Yemeni-Egyptian relations, asserting that the Egyptian security is integral part of Yemen's.
He further said that Egyptian President Abdul-Fatah al-Sisi directed to enhance fraternal relations between Yemen and Egypt in all fields.
