The World Food Program has signed a lease agreement of an area in Moalla seaport for receiving its relief aid arriving in Yemen. The agreement was signed with the Corporation for Aden Gulf Seaports.
From the WFP's side, the agreement was signed by the WFP's Representative and Country Director, Stephen Anderson.
In a recent report entitled "Yemen Situation Report", the WFP said that in July it will have a complete commodity pipeline break. "Therefore, WFP is appealing for immediate and sustained funding to ensure that the most food insecure populations receive necessary food and nutrition support."
