Yemen condemns terrorist attack against civilians in London

The Republic of Yemen denounced in the strongest terms Saturday night's cowardly terror attack that targeted civilians in London killing and wounding dozens.
"While condemning this criminal attack that targeted the friendly Kingdom of Britain, the Government of the Republic of Yemen affirms its full solidarity with the government and people of the UK in the face of this attack," a statement from the government said.
"While these terror attacks, we, in the Government of Yemen, realize that the terrorist entity's policy of blackmailing against the international community should not go without punishment and draining of terror and extremism finance resources."
"Such criminal attacks that target civilians and public places show the danger of terrorism as a clear threat that requires a serious international attitude to fight it and eliminate it."
The government expressed heartfelt condolences to the government and people of the UK as well as families of the victims, wishing a quick recovery for the wounded.
