Aden (Saba)- Local Administration Minister Abdul-Raqeeb Fatah has condemned the continuation of targeting children and civilians in Taiz by the Houthi-Saleh militias, emphasizing that the militias commit genocides in Taiz.
The minister called the international community to put pressures on the Houthi-Saleh militias and force them to end their bombardment on populated neighborhoods and houses of civilians, asserting that perpetrators must be prosecuted and punished.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Fatah demanded the UN organization, particularly the United Nation Higher Commissioner for Human Rights to condemn these crimes, signaling out that the international silence towards massacres committed by the Houthi-Saleh will encourage them to commit further.
The minister also called the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen to inspect these crimes and present a report to the United Nations to be aware of crimes committed by the Houthi-Saleh militias against Yemenis.
