Geneva, (Saba) - "The legal authority will never allow splitting Yemen, its division and toppling the legitimacy," said Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin Daghr in a press conference held Wednesday on the sidelines of meetings for supporting humanitarian response plan in Yemen.
There is no respectful official accepts dividing his country or putting it under rebelled and armed militias, he stressed.
"Yemen has been the only Arab country, which came out from Arab Spring's crisis into the road of peace, and there was a national inclusive conference for all political spectrums, all Yemeni society's sects and the NGOs and Yemenis agreed on the outcomes of the dialogue, which was participated by all political forces, including Houthi-Saleh's militias," he explained.
He reviewed stages of Houthi rebel group as a soldier sold himself for serving Iran's interests since the group announced rebellion against the state in 2004 in Sa'ada, then extended to nearby governorates to reach the Capital Sana'a and seized it by war, then rebelled against the legal authority, waging wars on the governorates until they reached Bab al-Mandab Strait.
"Everything has collapsed after the militias stormed Sana'a and brought down the state," he said, noting to huge sacrifices made by Yemeni people, the president, the legal government and the national army for restoring the republic of Yemen, curbing Iranian's plot and bring victory to law and constitution," he said.
He confirmed that the government has transferred the central bank to the transitional Capital of Aden after Houthi-Saleh's alliance looted the fund reserve and other financial funds and deprived government employees of their salaries.
While he demanded deposing revenues at the Central Bank in Aden, he reaffirmed the government position towards peace that is based on the three references, GCC Initiative, the National Dialogue Conference's outcomes and UN Resolution 2216 and that deviation on these references or playing with them prolong the war.
He revealed that he agreed with the UN on handing over humanitarian aid granted in the conference held here on responding to Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen to all Yemeni people, including those in Houthi-Saleh's alliance-held areas.
He concluded the press conference with assertion that Yemeni people have agreed on the form of their state as federal stated by the NDC's outocmes and that the legal authority will continue its way until restoration all Yemeni soil and bring victory to homeland and the citizen.
