Foreign Minister Calls ON UNHCHR To Move Quickly To Protect Civilians, Document Houthi Violations
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Dr. Afrah al-Zouba called on the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR) Volker Turk and the Human Rights Council to take urgent action regarding the humanitarian repercussions and violations resulting from the military escalation by the Houthi terrorist militias, amid the rapidly unfolding developments on the western coast and the Bab al-Mandeb areas.

PM meets al-Jawaf Governor

Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid Bin Daghar on Saturday met here with al-Jawaf Governor Ameen al-Okaimi, discussing military confrontations with the Houthi Saleh in al-Jawaf as well as development and services needed by people.

Al-Okaimi detailed the services required by people of al-Jawaf and military gains scored by the Yemeni National Army.

Bin Daghar lauded efforts exerted by the local authorities in al-Jawaf, naturalization of life and ensuring security and stability across all liberated governorates.

He said people of al-Jawaf could defeat "the Imamate project" of the Houthi militias and liberated 80% of their governorate's territories.

Al-Okaimi highly appreciated the attention paid by Prime Minister for al-Jawaf issues and his approval to meet the governorate's demands.
