President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup
[20/07/2026 07:52]

ADEN - SABA
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. At the same time, he asserted that it is high time to put an end of the suffering which created by the terrorist Houthi militias.

The President announced, in a statement to the people, the work on resuming oil exports starting from today, with the revenues directed to serve citizens across the country. This includes fulfilling the state's basic obligations, paying salaries, improving services, and boosting economic stability, ensuring that Yemen's wealth returns to all its people instead of remaining at the mercy of militias adventures and extortion.

The Chairman of the PLC also confirmed that the state has never stopped striving for peace and easing citizens' suffering. However, the Houthi militias have chosen escalation, have continued to reject humanitarian initiatives, and exploited the plight of Yemenis to serve their own agenda. He restated his confidence that just as Yemenis triumphed for the republic before, today they will triumph for the state and close the chapter of the coup forever

He added that the past years have proved that the tragedy the Yemenis are living through was not inevitable, but rather a direct result of the Houthi terrorist militias’ coup, using the suffering of citizens to serve the Iranian regime’s agenda and dragging Yemen into its regional conflicts.

The President also reiterated his call to the people in the militias-controlled governorates to align themselves around the state and the republic, as this is the only guarantee of security, stability and the promising future that all Yemenis deserve.
