Minister of Education Discusses Partnership with "Pure Hands"

Minister of Education Dr. Adi Al-Abbadi discussed thursday with the Executive Director of the “Pure Hands” organization, Dr. Mohammed al-Hajjaji and his accompanying delegation ways to enhance joint cooperation in support of the educational process.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary for the Curriculum and Guidance Sector at the ministry, Dr. Abdulghani al-Shawthabi, Minister al-Abbadi affirmed the ministry’s commitment to strengthening and building effective strategic partnerships with various donor organizations, including “Pure Hands,” considering it one of the key partners in developing and advancing the education sector.

Al-Abbadi also highlighted the ministry’s aspiration to expand areas of cooperation in ways that help meet the needs of the education sector, address current challenges, improve the quality of education, and enhance its outcomes.

The Minister of Education emphasized the importance of making optimal use of educational projects, especially in building schools in underserved areas, rehabilitating and renovating educational facilities, as well as reactivating the school feeding program and distributing food baskets to teachers, in line with the ministry’s sectoral plans and programs.

For his part, the organization’s Executive Director reviewed the key projects implemented by “Pure Hands” to support the education sector in Yemen, affirming the organization’s commitment to expanding its interventions and strengthening its partnership with the Ministry of Education in a way that serves the educational process.
