TAIZ-SABA
A young man was seriously wounded by sniper fire from the Houthi movement, positioned on Al-Sabri Hill north of Taiz, according to local sources.
Medical officials said the victim, 21-year-old Ahmed Abdullah Ahmed Hassan, suffered a direct gunshot wound that caused extensive damage. He was rushed to a hospital in the city for emergency treatment.
Doctors said he will require several urgent surgeries, including procedures to stabilize a fractured thigh bone with metal plates, as well as operations to repair damaged arteries and veins in an effort to save his life.
The incident is part of a broader pattern of violations by Houthi terrorists against civilians in Taiz, as sniper attacks targeting residential areas continue to escalate.
