Yemen’s Ambassador to Germany Luay al-Eryani met Monday with Eileen von Zitzewitz, the German Federal Climate Protection official and the official responsible for Middle East affairs at the German Ministry of the Environment.

The two parties discussed ways of strengthening joint cooperation on environmental issues in Yemen.

The meeting addressed the importance of developing communication with the authorities responsible for environmental affairs in Yemen, particularly the Ministry of Water and Environment and identifying Yemen’s needs in this field.
