His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Friday, with the Prime Minister of the brotherly State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the 62nd Session of the Munich Security Conference.

The conversations focused on aspects of bilateral cooperation, priorities of Kuwaiti economic and developmental support, humanitarian interventions, service and relief efforts, and pressing needs the government is working to address in various fields.

President al-Alimi repeated his deep thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait, led by his His Highness Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, the government, and the brotherly Kuwaiti people for their fraternal stances, support and the facilities provided to the Yemeni government and people in various stages and circumstances.

The President briefed the Kuwaiti Prime Minister on the recent developments in our country, including the formation of the new government, the measures taken with the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to end the duality of authority, unify security and military decision-making, consolidate the presence of the state.

The Kuwaiti Prime Minister confirmed Kuwait's commitment to supporting the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership in overcoming the current crisis and achieving their aspirations for security, stability.
