Two children were injured today when the Houthi militia launched a mortar attack on residential neighborhoods in eastern Taiz city in central Yemen today.

The victims, 12-year-old Ahmed Amin Ali Muthanna and 17-year-old Abrar Fouad, suffered multiple shrapnel wounds from the barrage targeting homes in Al-Kamb and Wadi Sala areas.

They were immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. This brutal attack is the latest in an interminable series of decade-long Houthi assaults on civilian targets in Taiz.
