Tariq Abdo along with the Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology Captain Saleh bin Nahaid launched today, Monday, the first flight of Aden Airlines Company from Aden International Airport, Aden-Cairo route.

Maj. General Aidroos al-Zubaidi chairs Sovereign Revenues Committee meeting

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Aidaroos al-Zubaidi chaired today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden, a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Sovereign and Local Revenues (SCSLR).

The meeting devoted to follow-up the implementation of the outcomes from previous committee meetings, as well as discussing a number of reports submitted by the relevant ministries and institutions related to the path of improving financial performance, enhancing revenues and organizing sovereign and local resources.

The PLC's Member stressed the importance of doubling efforts by all relevant government institutions.

"The headship of these institutions need to demonstrate responsibility and adherence to transparency and financial and administrative discipline", he said.

Al-Zubaidi affirmed that organizing resources and enhancing revenues are the fundamental pillars for achieving financial stability, enabling the government to fulfill its obligations towards citizens.
