Presidential Leadership Council's Member Maj. General al-Zubaidi affirms support for developing aviation businesses

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council(PLC) Member Maj. General al-Zubaidi confirms the PLC's full support for the management of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Metrology (GAACM) and the Yemeni Airways Company (YAC) to deal with the challenges created by the terrorist Houthi militias which sought to undermine this sovereign sector and exploit it for sabotage goals.

He reiterated the pledge to provide the necessary support to revive the businesses of the airways transport and to further increase its services.

He voiced his statement during his meeting today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Chairman of the GAACM Captain Saleh bin Nahaid and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the YAC Captain Nasser Mahmood.

Bin Nahaid and Mahmood reported to al-Zubaid about the situations of the civil aviation and the YAC, challenges facing and the ongoing plans and efforts to modernize the infrastructure of the airports as well as to manage the great loses the YAC has suffered due to terrorist Houthi militias' irresponsible practices, including taking over a number of the company's planes.
