PM receives UN Resident Representative in Yemen

The Prime Minister Salem bin Braik received today, Monday, in the temporary capital Aden, the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen is Julien Harneis.

They conferred over the developments of the humanitarian and the partnership programs at present and in the future.

The conversations also touched on the violations of the terrorist Houthi militias against the relief and humanitarian actions as well as the underway plans to relocate the HQs of the UN's agencies in the temporary capital Aden.

The Prime Minister highlighted the pressing need for urgent support by the international community to sustain the government's efforts to manage the great challenges the country has been facing due to the economic war waged by the terrorist Houthi militias, mainly the militias' attacks on the oil exports ports.
