[06/06/2025 12:56]
ADEN - SABA
Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, performed the Eid al-Adha prayer alongside senior state leaders and crowds of worshippers in the temporary capital, Aden.

The President attended the Eid sermons in the presence of Prime Minister Salem Saleh Bin Breik, ministers, parliament members and other high ranking officials.

Eid sermon speaker Sheikh Ali Mahfoud spoke about the virtues of Eid al-Adha as one of the greatest days for Muslims, closely linked to Hajj, one of the pillars upon which Islam is built.

He emphasized it as a day of great unity among Muslims, along with the joy, sacrifice, and solidarity that this significant religious occasion embodies, especially amidst the difficult living conditions and humanitarian catastrophe caused by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

The Eid sermon highlighted the importance of unity, rejecting division and discord, reconciling differences, and rallying around the goal of restoring the state institutions and overthrowing the Houthi terrorist coup.

The sermons addressed the challenges facing the nation, particularly the Iranian influential agenda and its terrorist militias in Yemen and the region, which have brought disasters, wars, and destruction, harming Yemen and its people and leading to the devastation of their resources and infrastructure.

The speaker called on the state leadership to work as one team, alleviate citizens' suffering, and provide essential services, viewing this as the pathway to decisive victory with God's help. He prayed for the success of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council and his fellow council members, asking God to grant them righteous advisors to guide them toward good and the welfare of the country and its people.

The Eid speaker congratulated Prime Minister Salem Saleh Bin Breik on gaining the trust of the political leadership, wishing him and government members success in their significant national duties.

He also acknowledged the role of brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in supporting Yemen and its people, alleviating their suffering exacerbated by Houthi terrorist attacks on oil facilities and international shipping lanes, supported by the Iranian regime.

Afterwards, President Rashad Al-Alimi received a large number of citizens congratulating him at the Maasheeq Palace, along with senior state officials, military and security leaders, and community and women’s figures, exchanging greetings and congratulations.
