TAIZ-SABA
A 12-year-old girl, Sally Mohammed Abdullah, was seriously injured by a Houthi sniper's bullet in eastern Taiz, Yemen, on Wednesday. The incident occurred east of Taiz city, where Sally was shot while near her home. She sustained serious injuries and was subsequently transferred to a hospital for treatment.
This attack is part of a larger pattern of violence in the region, with Houthi militia launching artillery shelling targeting residential areas in Taiz and Lahj Governorate.
In Taiz, mortar shells hit citizens' home in the Dhi al-Nurain neighborhood, causing material damage. One shell created a hole in the roof and left shrapnel in the house's walls.
In Lahj Governorate, Houthi militia launched artillery shelling in the village of al-Makhnaq, destroying Abdul Bari Nasser Al-Mukhaniqi's home and causing extensive damage.
