Interior Minister meets with delegation from UN Envoy's Office

The Minister of Interior Maj. General Ibrahim Haidan met today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden, with a delegation from the Office of the Special Envoy of the UN-Secretary General to Yemen, headed by the military advisor and the Chair of the Military Affairs Coordination Committee brigadier Antony Hayward.

The talks covered a range of topical issues including the Ministry's plans and efforts to control smuggling operations and to fight crimes and the terrorist Houthi militias' continuous breaches of the cease-fire agreement.

General Haidan updated the delegation on the Ministry's ongoing efforts to control smuggling and the organized crimes.

The UN Envoy military advisor presented an overview on the UN's efforts to support peace path, citing the ongoing consultations with the concerned parties with the aim of reaching comprehensive and permanent solutions.
